Construction
We take enormous pride in the workmanship and quality of our furniture. Our frames are inner-locked and glued with corner blocks and feature built-in legs where the design is appropriate. For styles which feature a decorative spool foot or have bunn feet we install screw-in-legs. Most of our full-length sofas have a center leg for additional support while our seats use high-density foam cushioning with Comfort Coil Spring Construction. All trims are made of wood and most of our styles are available as sleepers with each sleeper built using a premium innerspring mattress and TV head-rest.
Our workers are quite experienced with most of them having been with the company over 15 years.
Our furniture is delivered on a privately owned and operated fleet of air-ride truck and trailers.

Lancer Incorporated is proud to offer 96% of our styles as sleepers with Queen Anne and Chippendale designs being the only exceptions due to the depth of the premium innerspring mattress. In addition to our premium innerspring mattress all of our heavy-duty sleepers feature a TV headrest and high density foam cushioning utilizing Comfort Coil Spring Construction.

Frame and Springs
Frames are built for lasting durability. Wherever possible we build the legs to be part of the frame itself for extra strength and rigidity. We warrant the frame to be free of defects for the useful life of the original fabric.
Both seat and back springs meet or exceed the industry standards. You will receive proper comfort seating now and for years to come. Design restrictions necessitate installation of sinuous arc springs in some styles. We warrant the springs to be free of defects for the useful life of the original fabric to the original owner.
Foam and Filling Material
The cushioning used in our Lancer product is patented superior rate high-density foam. It's ability to retain the majority of its original shape and comfort is better than most foam cushioning available today. Please remember as the years pass there is a certain amount of foam relaxation as the cushion settles. We warrant the foam cushion cores for five years in its original fabric to the original owner.
Sleeper Mechanisms
At Lancer we purchase the latest technology and most durable mechanism available for our Sleepers. Confident that we install an easy to operate, maintenance free system, we warrant our sleepers to be free from defects for three years in its original fabric to the original owner.
Fabric
Almost all of the fabrics Lancer uses in our furniture construction are of American origin. We have chosen to buy American for several reasons. One, we like to support other local businesses. Most of our fabric is woven in NC, SC, and GA. Second, due to the special order nature of what we build ,we need suppliers who can deliver a consistent product promptly and reliably. Each of our furniture categories requires a different selection of fabrics to best compliment them so we keep an extensive line of fabrics on hand for immediate fulfillment of orders. We have weekly interviews with our fabric sources to keep abreast of the newest offerings and trends. The 20 or so fabric suppliers we use schedule their production eight or more weeks in advance so we are constantly having to estimate future demand and work around shortages and dropped patterns to make our standard four week delivery cycle.
Seldom do fabric producers warrant their fabrics; however since Lancer endeavors to offer you our customer a quality product, we warrant upholstery fabrics for one year against wear and seam opening under normal care and use. Fabrics which have been chemically treated or peel, fade or shrink are excluded. Don't let your pets use your furniture as this causes soiling and animal hair gets into your fabric - dust and gritty particles can become embedded in your fabric and cause wear and cutting of your thread. Vacuum or brush away loose dirt regularly as you also reverse your cushions so that you can enjoy the maximum benefits of your beautiful new furniture.
Comfort Coil
The following is information on Lancer's "Comfort Coil" System.
- Each unit has the coils placed properly in a pre-determined position.
- Each coil is produced of high-carbon spring wire and tempered to provide long lasting durability.
- Each unit has 9-gauge high-carbon, tempered wire support system to which the coils are attached
on the bottom.
- The series of coils are attached to each other on top by a custom made plastic link and spring wire
lace system. The outer perimeter of the coil unit is secured by a 6-gauge border wire. This forms a
unitized seating surface.

Regalflex D.I.®
Crafted from oven-tempered wire for added strength and durability.
Regalflex D.I.® is a proven, high
quality coil spring seating construction. It's features conical upholstery coils locked into position on a
heavy gauge bottom grid and attached by clips to substantial edge wire around the construction's upper
perimeter. Individual coils are transversely connected to adjoining coils by helical springs which serve
to spread the load weight evenly across the entire seating surface.
