At Lancer, we do our best to provide high quality furniture while keeping the environment in mind. By using carefully recycled materials such as fiber derived from soda bottles and deck padding derived from recycled fabric scraps, you get long lasting comfort and we reduce the amount of waste in landfills. By using renewable soy based materials in our polyurethane of our cushions, arms and backs, you get that desired level of firmness or softness that lasts while reducing the use of petroleum products.

Plywood comes from a FSCtm Forest Stewardship Council certified source.

The spring steel we purchase has a minimum content of 50% of scrap based steel

Sleeper and motion mechanisms-- 70-80% of the steel used comes from scrap as opposed to iron ore. All re-rolled angle is made from salvaged railroad tracks.
